The Enthusiasts’ Guide to Buying a
Classic British Sports Car

The Enthusiasts' Guide to Buying a Classic British Sports Car aims to be not only a buyer’s guide but also a reference book for Classic British Sports Cars. He involved hundreds of enthusiasts and experts in the many classic car clubs in the UK as well as the Heritage Motor Centre in Gaydon in compiling the information contained in the book.

It is an 184-page hardback book and contains 600 black and white photos. It covers the major British manufacturers’ models launched between 1945 and the early 1980s. In total there are about 150 models covered. In the case of MG, the book covers the MG TC/TD/TF, MGA, MGB, MG Midget, MGC and MGB GT V8. They all get 2 pages each except for the Midget (3 pages) and MGB (4 pages).

For more details on the book, visit the website at Hingston-car-books.co.uk. The book is available in the US via Amazon.com

Inside The Octagon is a documentary film history of the MG Car Company from 1921 - 1945. They are currently in the process of producing a 2nd film covering the post-war MG's. Fortunately, much of ITO2 was filmed concurrently with the first film, including an extended irreplaceable interview with the late John Thornley. Nowhere else will enthusiasts find such a significant historical recording of MG history. Producing a film such as this is a expensive venture, and even with much of the filming completed, they still need to raise over $100,000 to make it happen. The documentary was accepted as a a sponsored project by the Southwest Alternative Media Project, a non-profit organization for the media arts. This allows any monetary contributions to be tax deductible.
