We signed up to have the April brunch at our house while attending our first T Register Halloween Party. Spring seemed like a perfect time of year to host our first event. We envisioned a nice spring day, and if we were lucky we might even be able to extend our brunch outside to the deck. So we chose the theme "Bring on the Sun" and decided to make it a Hawaiian affair. Well, mother nature had something different in mind and she graced us with snow, hail, and wind the day before the brunch.  Needless to say we were a little less than happy about this, but never the less decided we wouldn't let it "dampen" our fun.

But it turned out to be a great day! What a super bunch of people. We had 28 people attend and 1 MG (Sue and Joe Colombo in their MGB GT). There was so much good food (this club has excellent cooks) and great conversation. Many people wore their Hawaiian clothes (most with sweaters and/or turtlenecks :-)). We had a lot of fun and, believe it or not, the sun came out and the weather was great - but cold.

Thanks to everyone who braved the weather, the delicious and great variety of food that was provided, and the great conversations. We're really enjoying the club and glad to be part of such a great group.
