After a long harsh winter, all of us will be ready for spring by April.  This year’s spring brunch will be a Hawaiian theme held at Doug and Carey Murray’s house in Olympia on April 20th, 2008.  We will gather at 11:00am.  Bring your favorite dish and wear your favorite Hawaiian clothes.  We are hoping the Hawaiian theme will bring on a sunny day.  There will be special door prizes for those adventurous enough to drive up in their MG.

From Interstate 5 north or south:

  1. take exit 104 (Aberdeen, Port Angeles) onto Highway 101
  2. go 5.9 miles and exit to stay on highway 101 (toward Shelton, Port Angeles)
  3. go 1.5 miles and take exit to Steamboat Island (this is the first exit)
  4. Turn left at immediate T
  5. go to first stop sign and turn right onto Steamboat Island Road
  6. Go 6.9 miles and turn right onto Hunter Point Road (after fire station at bottom of hill)
  7. go to stop sign and turn right on to Salty Drive
  8. follow windy road to T and turn left on to Schirm Loop
  9. We are the 7th house on the left.  2329 Schirm Loop NW

From Shelton on Highway 101:

  1. Go south of Shelton on Highway 101
  2. at mile post 359 take exit that reads “Steamboat Island Road Next Right”
  3. follow road to the first stop sign, turn left on Steamboat Island Road
  4. go 7.1 miles and turn right onto Hunter Point Road (after fire station at bottom of hill)
  5. go to stop sign and turn right on to Salty Drive
  6. follow windy road to T and turn left on to Schirm Loop
  7. We are the 7th house on the left.  2329 Schirm Loop NW
Parking—in our driveway, lot across the street, along the road and in the neighbor’s driveway (2335 Schirm)
