Lunch and MG T Quiz

McCleary, WA $16 per person Join us for a little mental exercise and lunch at The Old McCleary Hotel in McCleary, Washington. In a break from tradition this year’s February meeting will not be the Noggin & Natter but perhaps it will start a new tradition with “The MGT Quiz”. We will meet at the hotel for tea/coffee and cookies at 11:00am then form into teams of 3-5 people for the quiz. A soup/salad/sandwich lunch will be served at around 1pm, then after lunch the quiz papers will be marked, the winners declared, and prizes awarded. Directions From Olympia/Tacoma: At exit 104 on I-5 take US-101 N towards Aberdeen/Port Angeles. Continue straight (west) on WA-8 when US-101 turns north. After about 13 miles take the Mox Chehalis Road exit towards McCleary. At the end of the exit ramp turn right onto McCleary-Sine Road, which becomes S 3rd St as you veer left and then slightly right to go past the school. Continue straight on at the 3-way stop with Simpson Avenue, as S 3rd St becomes N Summit Road/WA-108. The hotel is on the right after about one-third of a mile, at the corner with E Beck St. From Shelton: From US-101 S take WA-108 W at Kamilche, towards McCleary. The hotel will be on the left after about 10 miles. From Elma: Head east on WA-8. Turn left and then right on WA-108 towards McCleary. After about a mile turn left onto N Summit Road/WA-108 at the 3-way stop. The hotel is on the right after about one-third of a mile, at the corner with E Beck St. Contact |
