Key Peninsula

To be held on the Key Peninsula, which is Purdy just past Gig Harbor and turn South, at the home of Wayne and Laura Duncan.  We will meet people in Purdy, in the Bridgeway Grocery parking lot at 12:30 PM.  Wayne will lead on a small tour of the Key Peninsula with a short stop as a local business and end up at our home, on Lake Minterwood.  Hopefully the day will be summer like as it will be the second day of summer, so we can enjoy the lake, beach, as well as the rowing boats and bring your light fishing gear for anyone interested.  We will have a picnic supper between 3 and 4 PM.   Hope to see you all there.

Please bring either a salad, main dish or dessert for the potluck picnic. Laura will meet everyone at the starting point to gather any food that needs to be kept cool/warm to take back to their house in preperation for the picnic.

Directions

From I-5, take the Hwy 16 exit (#132) Go across the Narrows Bridge, past the Gig Harbor exits, then take the Hwy 302 -Key Center- Shelton exit which is immediately beyond the Burnham Drive exit. Turn left at the first light in Purdy, then take an immediate right into the parking lot. Do not go across the Burly Lagoon Bridge.

From points north, take the Purdy - Hwy 302 exit from Hwy 16. Go thru the light at 144th, then watch for the Bridgeway Grocery parking lot on the right, just past the school light.
