Spring Drive

The drive around Cougar and Squak mountains, and the picnic at Ed and Jean Monell’s home afterward, benefited from some really sunny and warm weather.  It was a perfect day for our “T”s with Dave and Liz DuBois, Pat and Rob Garrett, Tony McArthy, Doug and Cary Murray, and Ed and Jean Monell driving their TD’s.  Alex Waugh and Adriel Vagn drove his TF.

And from a participant's point of view: Ed and Jean Monell did a super job laying out an interesting route.  We drove past beautiful homes, wonderful countryside and even cruised through the parking lot of the Newcastle Golf Club.  We'd been there on a previous tour, when we enjoyed testing out their heated toilet seats!  However, with the temps pushing 90°, no one even got out of their cars, admiring the great view as we kept on moving!  We had a delicious pot luck lunch before heading home.  Many thanks to Ed and Jean for a fun day!
