Jean McGarah's Haunted Manse

Heavy rain greeted the intrepid MG party-goers as they arrived at Jean McGarah's on October 17 for the annual Halloween party. Luckily, the rain soon eased, and a good supply of tasty food and lots of cheerful conversation kept everyone in a party mood. The champagne punch may have helped, too! There were seventeen members present, wearing a range of costumes and Halloween shirts. The costume awards went to Larry Helser, a six shooter-toting cowboy, Jean McGarah, green-haired witch, and circus clowns, Guy and Carita Boswell. Next year's meeting and event list was available for sign up, and Dave DuBois reminded members that dues are due this month.

After everyone left, Jean found a green insulated bag had been left behind. She'll return it whenever the owner calls. You can reach her at 206-824-5440.
